Baymount Outdoor Adventures
"Adventure, Cultural and
Natural History Tours
in Canada and The Americas"
Abandoned railroads, coastal dykes, forgotten mining paths and hundreds of kilometers of lumbering roads and trails scattered throughout the Caledonia Highlands and the Fundy Biosphere Reserve make this a mountain biker’s paradise.
Our regularly scheduled day adventure tour is “Bike The Dyke”, where guests experience Fundy’s giant tides while biking dyke networks first developed by 17th century Acadian settlers. Join our guides on this unique tour – a blend of outdoor adventure and history, as they recount the early Acadian story and reveal the secrets of the Fundy coastline. In addition, we offer a variety of private tours. Our most scenic and relaxing rides occur along the coastal salt marshes of the Shepody National Wildlife Reserve, while the more challenging rides occur on the forested Caledonia Highlands and steep river valleys leading to the Bay of Fundy.
